The Brantford Red Sox are seeking interns for the upcoming Intercounty Baseball League season.
The Brantford Red Sox regular season runs from May through September. Internships run through the completion of the season. Interns work directly with the management staff.
All Interns must receive college credit for this internship, or the internship must qualify for a graduation requirement. There are educational and work components to this position. Some of the work components may include tasks such as game day duties, hanging signs, preparing the ballpark,, deliveries, other miscellaneous outdoor work, as well as participating in offsite community events.
In addition to your specific area of focus, all interns will have the opportunity to work with the staff to gain experience in the marketing and sales department. Sales tasks will include following up with ticket buyers, gauging fan experience, assisting with ticket and sponsorship calls, placing ticket orders, and delivering tickets to clients. Marketing tasks will include creating promotions as well as brainstorming ideas for new sponsorship prospects.
