YMCA Day at the Ballpark: Celebrating Community This Sunday

This Sunday, August 3, the Brantford Red Sox are proud to host YMCA Day at the Ballpark—an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the incredible partnership between the Red Sox and the Laurier Brantford YMCA.

Our players have been training at the YMCA all season long. It’s become more than just a place to lift weights or shoot hoops—it’s become a second home. The energy, support, and welcoming spirit of the YMCA staff have made a real impact on our team, and we’re excited to show our appreciation.

This Sunday’s game against the Hamilton Cardinals is all about community. YMCA members and staff are invited to join us for a day of fun at Arnold Anderson Stadium. There will be activities for kids, in-game contests, player meet-and-greets, and plenty of shoutouts to our partners at the Y.

Brantford Red Sox owner Terry Smith—a champion of community-first values—has helped drive this partnership forward. “The YMCA and the Red Sox share the same mission,” he says. “We believe in people. We believe in doing good. And we believe in building something special, together.”

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate YMCA Day at the Ballpark and the power of sport to bring people together.

First pitch: 2:00pm at Arnold Anderson Stadium. See you there!
