Fabian Wins Empire League Championship

TUPPER LAKE, NY - Matt Fabian and the Tupper Lake Riverpigs have won the 2024 Empire League championship, sweeping their finals series against the North County Thunderbirds 2-0.

Fabian, the 2023 Intercounty Baseball League Rookie of the Year,  started the 2024 season with the Brantford Red Sox and played 6 games before joining the Empire League's Tupper Lake Riverpigs. He hit .283 for the Riverpigs in 92 at bats over 34 regular season games. 

Matt Fabian has now resumed his season with the Brantford Red Sox, joining the team during Sunday's game in Hamilton. Congratulations Matt and welcome back!
