Brantford Red Sox Release 2024 Schedule

BRANTFORD - The Brantford Red Sox have released their schedule for the upcoming 2024 Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) season. The Brantford Red Sox were founded in 1911 and are 15 time IBL Champions.

The 2024 IBL regular season commences on May 12 and concludes on August 18, and again consists of 42 games. New to the league in 2024 is the addition of the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers, the IBL's 9th franchise. Chatham-Kent joining the league introduces an unbalanced schedule where teams will play against each other either five or six times, differing from the even matchups of previous years. The schedule will reverse in 2025 season.

Some highlights of Brantford's 2024 schedule include:

Brantford's season opener takes place at home on Friday May 17 hosting the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers, in their historic first-ever IBL game
New for this season, all Saturday and Sunday games feature a family-friendly 2 pm start time. Brantford's home games again all take place on the weekend, with eleven Friday 8 pm starts, four Saturday 2 pm games, and six Sunday 2 pm games.
The Brantford Red Sox visit the Toronto Maple Leafs on Father's Day, June 16
The Brantford Red Sox visit the Guelph Royals on Canada Day, July 1
Brantford's regular season wraps up at home on Sunday August 18 hosting the Guelph Royals
