Brantford Red Sox Re-Sign Mike Mueller
The Brantford Red Sox, members of the Intercounty Baseball League, are happy to announce that Mike Mueller will be returning for the 2021 season!
Mueller made his Intercounty Baseball League debut when he joined the Brantford Red Sox midseason in 2019. He pitched 18.2 total innings over 8 appearances for the Sox, including 7 regular season relief appearances and one start in the playoffs.
Mueller is a native of Mississauga and a graduate of Arkansas Tech University. In 2018 he held opposing batters to a .294 batting average, and recorded 69 strikeouts over 13 starts/76.1 innings pitched for the NCAA Division II ATU Wonder Boys. In 2019 he pitched in 10 games and 14.0 total innings out of the bullpen for the Wonder Boys, recording 11 strikeouts and holding opposing batters to a .388 batting average.
Mueller is also a coach and pitching instructor with the Ontario Nationals.
